[SOLVED] How to get sound from xbox 360 connected to monitor?

Recently I have connected my xbox 360 to my monitor via HDMI cable. But unfortunately no audio can be heard. I tried connecting my speaker to monitor audio out but still nothing. So I am looking for suggestion to solve this.

Try a new cable, the 360 outputs sounds from hdmi.
You might also want to look into the settings on the 360 it might be setup to use a different sound output.

Xbox 360 outputs sound from HDMI so make sure you're cable is good, check all of the settings in the console too.
