How to get this?

This is from a laptop given by our government for poor students.. The OS is windows 7 ultimate 32-bit.. They had some kind of files installed in that 97.65 GB partition so that the partition doesn't appear in the explorer but the files in that partition can be used when accessed through Start menu --> programs.. My friend thought by formatting he can get that partition for storing files. But that partition is nowhere appearing. The right-click menu only allows to delete & help and all the other options are grayed out. How can I get that? Will deleting the partition make the partition disappear and can't be used? I use mini tools for partition works..

Stop fiddling! That Partition is NOT junk! It is full of necessary things, including things you know about - you say, " the files in that partition can be used when accessed through Start menu --> programs" - AND things you don't know - like, maybe, you entire OS! So leave it alone and be be happy using what you have.

I mean, that partition had files like that, when accessed it said "Drive Q: is not accessible".. So, my friend formatted it.. Now the laptop's running fine with the main OS, but is there anyway to get that back?

Interesting that you found a way to Format a Partition that is not accessible. However, if you are going to proceed, you can try this. In the LOWER RIGHT pane of Disk Management, RIGHT-click on the 97.65 GB Partition. In the resulting mini-menu, see if you can choose to assign a drive letter to this drive. If you can, back out of Disk Management and reboot. See if the drive is showing up now in My Computer.

The only two option available are delete volume & help.. See the picture in the question, I captured it with the right click menu..

You are clearly messing with things that you don't understand. You should be grateful that your government supports poor students in this way.

There is a real danger that if you continue to mess about your gift will become useless.
