How to have AMD 6470M working on inspiron n5110

Hey people I bought Dell Inspiron N5110 laptop 2 years ago, I just found out today that this laptop had another gpu instead of the Intel hd 3000 graphics. I hated it anyway, but when I installed drivers from the dell drivers disk, it said "Installation successful, some warnings occurred (view log for details) When I opened the log it showed nothing but "Ati Catalyst Install manager :Successful"
I downloaded the drivers from Ati website, and some other websites, but all had the same problem. I also read some threads from this website only, but didn't find the solution. Now I don't know what to do, some people say you should flash your BIOS, but I just wanna confirm it. Help will be appreciated, thankyou.

If it already has the GPU then it will already have the drivers. Just switch to pcie graphics in bios and you should be in business. Read your laptop manual.

Thank you for the reply. I went in the BIOS settings, it has no pcie option. Can you tell me which one are you talking about?

And yes, AMD 6470M is not appearing in Device Manager>Display Adapters

You have to look yourself. Each bios is different. Also read the motherboard manual.

Not working for me, I checked my laptop manual, can't find anything in that too.

Can't. I also flashed my bios. Still same problem.
