Hi and thanks for trying to a neophite such as myself. I had an old Linksys 2.4 that seemed to be putting out a strong signal but started reading "Limited Access" for no apparent reason. I lost the connections to our phones, laptops and Wii. When I went to my computer guy he said to buy another modem. So I got the Clear 4G Hub, And though I follow the directions, I cant get to connect at all. Our modem for "High-speed internet" was provided by Cable one.

Did you change ISP to clear.

Why would you buy that device? That is a device that only works on wireless that comes from cell towers.

I am going to suspect you have a cable modem from the name of the ISP. First thing to do turn off the cable modem and the computer. Using a ethernet cable plug a computer directly into the modem. Power on the modem and let it come all the way up. Now turn on the computer. Can you use the internet. If you can then your router has a issue if not then the modem may have a problem.

You need to check which modems the ISP supports. The vast majority will work with arris or motorola.

If you just need a router then almost any will work.

If you are really going to use clear as your ISP you likely need to call them they need information from the device to add it to their system before you can activate it.
