Hi,hoping someone can tell me which group of letters/numbers can identify a
Dell notebook motherboard I have acquired. The board looks very much like an
inspiron type i.e.connector for optical drive on the left.It takes standard
dimms(not ddr).CPU socket is mPGA479m.There are groups of numbers all over
it but which set tells me what the board is from?
Thanks
Mick

See if there's a Dell part number (usually on the bottom of the board, near
the memory sockets).

Thanks for reply but this has no sets of numbers parked d/pn or d/sn.

any thin white stickers with bar codes? any numbers on those stickers?
post photos of the board (front and back) on your site and tell us where to
look and perhaps we can help you...

I'm pretty sure if you watch the post the first line should have the
motherboard product code embedded in it.
