Are there any good tips to increase a gaming laptop lifespan? I am a casual player and I am forced to use gaming laptops because of relocation and traveling. I use my laptop to play games that meets the requirements/specs but I also use other software such as databases, Microsoft Office and similar applications.

Don't drop it. Don't lose it. Use a physical security lock like a kensington. Don't randomly install software. Be prepared to replace the battery.
Be gentile with power cord. Keep it from overheating -- don't sit it on a pillow, or other soft surface.
Nothing that isn't common sense.
