How to increase Netflix stream quality

Sometimes when watching Netflix, you'll have perfect HD only for it to become unrecognizable, even though you have a good connection. This is easy to fix, and will allow you to keep a steady stream quality. Start off by starting the video, and then alt+shift click the screen. This will bring up a menu. Click the button that says "Stream mananger". This will bring up numbers, the higher they are the higher quality they stream. Select the right number and click apply. Higher quality will need to buffer more, so if you have slow internet do not pick the highest unless you're willing to wait. If you have really slow internet and don't like when it suddenly jumps to full HD and then has to buffer for 10 minutes, you can set it to the lowest. This is also helpful if you are watching something like stand-up that you won't be looking at while you're doing something else to free up bandwidth.
Another thing that can be helpful somehow, I'm sure, is uploading a custom DFXP file in that first menu. It allows you to select a file from your computer to upload to the video you are watching in order to add subtitles of your own. Just open that menu with shift+alt+left click, click Load Custom DFXP file, and find one you downloaded in the pop-up window.
You can also click A/V stats for it to tell you things like CPU usage, frames rendered/dropped, current bitrate, and a bunch of other technical stuff.
The bottom option, A/V sync compensation, gives you a slider that allows you to adjust audio and video, in case they are out of sync, something that can be extremely frustrating.
