Then it may not be for the Windows 7 then. It may be for windows XP. IF so, then right click on the file and go to compatibility tab and check 'Run this program on Windows XP...' then click apply then run it and see if it works.

For Autocad 2010 there is separate 64bit version available. You can download and install that, you can download it from the torrentz -- torrent link removed by moderator

Torrents downloads of software are almost always cracked pirate versions. The forum rules prohibit discussion and dissemination of pirated software. We do realize that some distributions are freely downloadable, like Windows, and can be installed if you have a license key. I have deleted the torrent link above; contact me by private message if that's an uncracked version that will require Lokesh Achi to have a valid license key.

Even then downloading it would be illegal (unless the manufacturer's terms say otherwise). You must not download an ISO of Windows either if you do not own a corresponding license, even though Windows is protected by license key and online activation. (In fact there is a "generic" Windows key publishing which is perfectly legal and which is used when you "skip" entering a key during installation. This does not make Windows a shareware which you might legally test for 30 days though.)

Now that is likely, seeing that Windows 7 was released in 2009, and this is AutoCAD 2010… only supporting old versions of windows is why software makers release new versions of their software.

Actually, you can download an ISO of Windows 7 if you don't own the license. As you mention shortly thereafter, this would allow you to run the trial period.

Also, at this point we are assuming that the warning about piracy was taken into account and the OP does have a license. We have ignored the question of why he does not simply contact tech support if he does have a license. The torrent in question has been vouched for as un-cracked. Since we don't do investigations here, we have to take that at face value.
