Question How to install a DVD/DVR Player into a gaming PC?

I have a question, but first I just want to say that I don't know much about computers and going to need you guys' patience here. So, my son built a gaming computer some years ago and when he moved out, he moved on to bigger and better things and left the computer for me to play around with, okay so here is my question, when he built it, he did not bother to install a DVD/DVR Player and I need one but do not know how to wire one in? All I can do is offer as much info as possible, here is what I have , A PRIME Z370-A motherboard and a Corsair Power Supply CS650M and an EVGA 10 series, not sure what the exact number is.

DVD drives are just like disk drives. SATA data and power.

Why do you need a DVD drive?

If you don't have one already, you can get a USB one. No wiring needed.

I have an older version of MS Flight simulator that have installation Disks and I do not want to spend the money for a download version!

You'll also need software to decode DVD movies. Don't pay for a 'codec' in Microsoft Store or other paid application - use VLC (an open source media player app).
