How to install a NVME drive on Windows 10

I have a older Gigabyte Z97M D3H. I want to install a NVME drive.. but not sure if anyone has done this before and how do I do this Step by Step. Any help or suggestions for tutorials? My PC has this old stuff. where to put the NVME to? (which slot?)
1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCIEX16) * For optimum performance, if only one PCI Express graphics card is to be installed,
be sure to install it in the PCIEX16 slot.
(The PCIEX16 slot conforms to PCI Express 3.0 standard.)
Š 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x4 (PCIEX4)
(The PCIEX4 slot conforms to PCI Express 2.0 standard.)

1. That board does not have a dedicated m.2 port.

2. You probably cannot boot from an NVMe drive in the PCIe slot

3. You'll just be using the NVMe as a secondary drive. Might not be worth the 2x price per GB on sich an older motherboard.
