I have a 1 TB HDD and 1 TB SSD on my new pc, I want to install my windows 10 on it, how do I proceed making the partitions and choosing the SSD for windows? I'm a noob, please dont let me f this up!

Solution

Personally, I wouldn't partition the SSD.
Serves no real purpose.

Partitions on an SSD don't make the same difference like they do on HDD's.

Disconnect ALL drives except the SSD you want the OS on.
Install
How to do a CLEAN installation of Windows 10
After it is up and running, connect the HDD.
It will appear as just another drive letter.
You can use it however you want.

For instance, Steam games can go on either or both drives:
Steam games location
In the steam client:
Steam
Settings
Downloads
Steam Library Folders
Add library folder

Should I partition the SSD in 500 GB parts like I would with the HDD? (I want to install my 3dsmax on a different SSD drive than the 3ds's cache SSD drive)
