Ok so I am new to m.2 and domt know much about it. So I bought a 250gb Samsung 970 evo plus m.2 nvme to replace a 120gb ssd I used somewhere else. So I install it to the mother board and the booted into bios it wasnt showing up in my booth priority was my hdd, only not sata ssd and boot manager were showing in boot priority. So I just booted up and as I read online before installing I went into partitions and enabled the drive and instead steam and uplay. Because I just upgraded to am4 parts a couple days ago I was still installing drivers and after a restart the m.2 isnt showing up as a drive or even in the partitions manager. Also the restart was to enable MSI RAID could that be why? I have a Msi x570 mobo, should I go into bios and changed the sata mode from SATA -> RAID, will my other sata ssd and hdd still work if I change sata mode to raid in bios? How should I set this m.2 up to get it to work properly. Also not sure if it make a difference but this is in the non gen 4.0 pcie as it is not a gen 4.0 m.2 drive. Thank you for any advice or info

So a couple days ago I upgraded my pc to am4 and I got the x570 board to allow a pcie 4.0 upgrade in the future, maybe. I also bought a samsung 970 evo plus 250gb and installed it yesterday and went into disk partitioner and set it up. during raid drivers system reboot, after the reboot the drive is not detected anymore. If I go to MSI board explored it is detected there and the one other setting also. Now here my thing I dont know if the BIOS is not set up correcttly but I have 3 total drives a hdd, regular ssd with windows, and the new 970 evo. In the boot priority I only have the windows containing ssd so boot priority is, windows boot manager (SSD) -> SSD but the other 2 drives are not in boot priority. but they other 2 are being detected in other BIOS settings. and the hdd is being used normally in windows while the 970 evo is not detected in windows anymore. The sata type in BIOS is set to AHCI not RAID. I'm thinking of just unplugging both sata drives and installing windows again on just the 970 evo connected. Also what do I do with the setting Legacy + UEFI do I change it to just UEFI? If anyone have some good ideas where to check the setting or what to have settings on while installing windows again thank you. Also Should I update the bios first before installing fresh windows even though BIOS detects the drives? just not in boot priority? and should boot priority be boot manager(SSD) -> SSD? if I switch those It ways no OS detected
