Question How to Install Office 2021 Professional Plus?

Hi,

I have Win 11 Pro.

First of all how do I download it officially directly from Microsoft? For Install will it simply be double clicking the EXE setup file after downloading it or will it be a ISO Image file? If ISO Image file then what do I do with the ISO Image file as I do not have a DVD-Rewriter drive to burn the image file to empty DVD disc? Does any of this require a MS account? Is there like a guide to do all this officially from Microsoft as I see a lot of office 2021 download links from google search from 3rd party website that may be unsafe downloads.

I already have the Key, the link you provided is asking to buy now pay upfront.

Okay I found the instructions below:

ACTIVATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Download the official ISO/image to activate: <Link removed by Moderator>(Other languages can be found below)

*If the phone number is not available in your country or have limited phone services, you can use an alternative phone number +18664217141, and make a free call using the Skype application: https://www.skype.com/get-skype/

  1. Open Word on your computer.
  2. Select the "activation by phone" option as soon as the Office activation wizard appears.
  3. Choose your country/region from the list provided in the wizard.
  4. Call the phone number shown on the activation wizard.
  5. When prompted, provide your installation ID.
  6. After entering your installation ID, the automated system will provide you with a confirmation ID.
  7. Enter the confirmation ID into the Office activation wizard to complete the activation process.
  8. If asked how many devices the code is installed on, answer "0".

Is the above office link official and legit? If so how do Burn or Mount this ISO Image file without a DVD drive? Or do I just download and run the exe file?

Just reading step 2, i can tell these are not brand new keys but resells. They have already been installed on another computer and you are trying to transfer the key to another system.

I bid you good luck and hopefully they are not reselling the same key over and over.

The fact that when you click the link it opens to a blank page and auto starts to download the file.....i would not trust.
 
Having to do the phone activation tells you this is not a legit sale. It's a resell at best or counterfeit/stolen at worst.

The official download is through a ms account. You associate the key with your account, then it'll let you download and install if the key is legit.

Not legit at all.
 
that link is an .img file. i've never known MS to use them. they tend to go with .iso files.

so yah i'd not trust that link as an official source for office.

you're best shot is to go through a MS account and see if it will let you download it. if not, then hopefully you did not pay much for your most likely fake key.

Okay so that means the Key has been already activated on another system that I bought the same key meaning it wont work for me and I lose $2-3?

I'm just analysing all the possibilities and probabilities to come up with a risk to reward ratio. The risk to reward ratio on this is good because I lose $2-3 if if does not activate however I'm not concerned about losing this money, I'm concerned about downloading files from non official links that may be dodgy hence why I am here to ask to be on the safe side.

Where do I download it officially?

A product that is nominally $300, being sold for $3.

This is in no way a valid purchase.
With licensed software such as Windows and Office, what you're paying for is the license.

A real download of Office 2021 Pro will not activate with whatever shady means you've been given.

And I posit that if a person cannot afford the cost of a real Office license, they don't need actual MS Office.
A truly free open source alternative would be better and safer.

Can you kindly share which MS website do I go to to sign in or where do I go from Outlook.com to validate the key?
 
for microsoft account you go to

where else would you go for official MS products?

sign in with your account or make one if you need one. then from there you'll navigate to the office pages and go from there. i don't use any of those products so that's as far as i can get you. i'm sure a quick "how do i install office 2021" google search will turn up plenty of how to's with lots of colorful pictures and such to follow.

i do know that if they will not validate your key through the site, then getting an iso of it to install manually is also not going to activate. it's the same validation server either way.

Legal MS Office keys cost a lot more than $2 or $3. This is a rather late hour to start caring whether something is dodgy.

There's also a bit of chutzpah in asking Microsoft to provide customer support for a product that was basically stolen from them.

Okay if it is stolen then it should not activate when I try to activate it right and how is Gamers Outlet not shut down yet by the Police or Courts or from Microsoft themselves with their unlimited money to pursue legal proceedings against them?

These cheap licenses are sold via many means.

Money laundering is one...
Lets say you can get 1000 valid credit card details, for cheap.
How to turn that into actual cash?
Buy several hundred valid license keys for Windows, Office, games.
Sell those at a deep discount.
By the time everything catches up, the criminal is long gone with the money. Remember, these are bought as valid...just with stolen credit card credentials.

Do you want to support criminal activity?
