How to install OS with no drive and USB 3

Heya guys!

Looking at buying a new laptop built by PCSpecialist. I have a copy of windows 8.1 that i want to use and dont want to pay extra for the new PC to come with it. The laptop does not have a CD drive so i would install the OS via USB. The only problem is it only has USB-3 ports and i think im right in thinking that you have to have the drivers for this to work, meaning that i cannot install the OS as i would not have the drivers installed

USB 3 is backwards compatible with USB 2 drives. You shouldn't have any problems if you use a USB 2 memory stick Just make a bootable memory stick and you'll be fine.
