How to install Windows 10 on a new hard drive or PC

Im a little bit confused about installing OS.

Im planning to buy a new computer and i have Windows 10 installer iso file,

Can i straight install windows 10 on my new pc or i need to install Windows 8 first ?

Hey there, DrinToFatic!

Since you will be buying a new PC, you might as well buy a new Windows 10 installation as well (if you have used this one already).
Changing the computer requires you have a new genuine activation code due to the fact that the operating system communicates with the motherboard (thus it's tied to it). I'd recommend you refer to MS Support for help with this. However, you won't be able to activate an already-used Windows installation.

SuperSoph_WD is correct MS make you cant install your Windows 10 on different MS without they do it for you. Not cool but fact. Already activate Windows 10 on some PC if it desktop you could tell MS support that you change you HW and you need to install the same activation on different configuration in that case they should help you, but if you want to keep your Windows 10 on previews computer you will need new license for the new PC.
