Hello, i want to download the media creation tool on a usb to install windows 10. My question is do i need some kind of special usb or not? I've seen everywhere that they are using USB Flash Drive, but what's that different from a regular usb? Or is it the same? If its not is there any way i can make a regular usb bootable to install winows 10?

Solution
You don't download the MediaCreation tool TO the USB.
You download it on a PC, and use that to CREATE the USB bootable thing.

Any 8GB or larger USB flash drive will work.
A blank one, because any data on it WILL be wiped out.

The first part of this outlines that process:

Download the ISO file and use Rufus to create the bootable USB stick.
