How to Install Windows 10 On Store Bought Laptop

My laptop's old hdd died so I bought a new one to replace it. I've installed windows before; however, that was when I bought the disk that came with a product key. Ive never had to reinstall windows on a device that came with it preinstalled, where do I find my product key?

If you have a newish laptop...post Win8 machine, then the Windows license is connected with your device which would allow you to activate it without a product key.

You can simply download the installation from Microsoft's website to a USB and use that to install it on your laptop.
