I just finished assembling the pieces of my build together and now when I turn on the computer I am directed to UEFI BIOS Utility - Advanced Mode. When I try to boot it using a usb drive I get a black screen with a flashing underscore and then I am redirected to the UEFI BIOS Screen. I am using the Boot Override Option to boot the computer. I am not sure what to do with the Boot Option Priorities, I have tried it with my SSD as option #1, and my USB as option #1.
My Specs are: i5 4670K, ASUS Maximum Hero VI, Samsung 120GB SSD, MSI GTX 770, EVGA 750W PSU, Seagate Barracuda ITB. I need some help on booting up my computer using the USB with Windows on it.

You need to have the USB containing windows setup plugged into the PC when you enter BIOS (IMPORTANT).
Go to the boot settings and under priority you should see the name of the USB stick you have plugged in.
Select that as the first boot device then save and exit. After the restart it should run windows setup normally.

If it still doesn't start then there is a chance that the setup on the USB is not OK. Transferring the OS setup to a USB drive can be tricky and may take a couple of tries to get right. Try a different software if the one you used didn't work.

I have looked up dozens of searches and have tried dozens of fixes and none have worked. I don't need to know how to install windows, i need to know why it won't bloody work.

Yeah I am currently running into the same issue as well. I have a Win7 64 bit disc that doesn't work(which I have used before), and a Win8.1 USB that doesn't work(the installer was built using a Windows tool). Nothing I do works for this mobo.

The fact that you got 10 to install doesn't mean your board is particular about which windows OS you use.

I tried both 7 and 8 multiple times. And I talked to a friend who had similar problems. Give it a shot. Might work.
