Looking for a basic tool to JOIN multiple files without re-encoding. I got a lot of shorter old videos wanna join together. They're ALL matching in their video format, audio, so don't wanna re-encode. What's the best tool for this? I downloaded a few video editing software, but ALL re-encode and I couldn't find a way to just join them.

Thanks

you said different file type/encoding.

I mean files are in different formats, BUT the parts are all the same. Like I have 6 small AVI videos, then 8 small mp4 videos, then 12 small mpeg videos, etc... The ones I wanna join are all the same.

The avidemux worked, kind of, joined most videos fine, BUT when I play them AFTER the first segment of video joins to the second vidoe the audio is dropped! Funny if I rewind the video, the audio comes back, so somehow at the joint frame, something happens to drop the audio... Grrrr, it's frustrating!
