Basically, I am looking to upgrade my CPU cooler and have fancied liquid cooling for a while. I know some will recommend air cooling but I'd rather not have a huge clunky heatsink on my CPU as my computer has a window and l like it looking clean, (pathetic right?). Anyway, I need a new cooler and my NZXT S340 has space for a 280mm rad in the front, however, I was wondering wouldn't this make the overall case temp higher? Sure the CPU will be cooler but if there isn't fresh air coming in anywhere but the radiator wouldn't it be warm?
tl;dr CPU too hot in some games (4690k - 80C hottest core - Far Cry 3, never this hot in other games) need to cool it better than stock heatsink.
Thought I might add specs anyway -
i5 4690k no OC
G1 Gaming GTX 1070
NZXT S340
2 simple case fans just now one back one front.
