Question How to keep Icons on one screen, even when it is off?

I have 3 monitors, my primary monitor is in the middle. I have Icons on my right hand monitor that I want to keep their, but when I switch the monitor off the icons jump back to my primary monitor. For clarification my monitors are identified in this order, 2 3 1. so 3 is my primary and 1 is the monitor that I don't have on all the time. I just want the icons to stay over that side, even if the monitor is off.

Try the following:
Right-click on an empty space on your screen, select "view" and then check if "Auto-arrange icons" is checked. If yes, uncheck it and select "Arrange icons to grid" instead.
