Hello, I recently came across a sweet I5-3350P already on a mobo. So, I got together my old CPU stuff, 14GB RAM & my Galaxy GTX 650 ti boost 2gb, Thermaltake 1050w Toughpower Grand PSU ect.
MY MAIN QUESTION, I want to know if it is worth it to use Turbo Boost on this Processor ?
I see it only goes about .2 from 3.1 to 3.3ish-mhz
Now, if my CPU is only gonna turbo for .2 =mhz shouldn't I just disable it & call it a day ?
Or is it REALLY vital for the health & stability of my PC to keep it on?
I do game. But I am not heavy on HUGE resolutions?
So, I keep my res low & graphic settings high.
I know turbo boost basically lowers all cores to make 1 core work the most. But, I read that turning it off & having all cores run the same is actually pretty stable & WAY less stressful on the PC.
But, yeah that is my main question. Sorry for the extra info I just like to explain stuff in detail.
Thank you in advance 😀
