I got a computer from a friend who ordered it online and doesnt know if the Red LED lights in the tower are customizeable.

Is there a way to find this out? Like what details do i need to find to help figure it out

i got this comp from a friend and was awhile since he got it, and i believe he "customized" it or w,e on webuypower or w,e site, and i asked him and he doesnt know

If your friend has no idea what he had then the only way is to start looking at the part model numbers and looking them up to see if it's RGB. If they were RGB vs a single color pretty sure your friend would have know that, it's not likely someone ordered RGB lights and then never changed them or knew they had them. If it's a pre-built then it should have a model number or a service tag number on the case and you can look that up on their site as well.

The specs on the system should tell you, RGB capability of the motherboard does not really mean the lights on the components like the fans are RGB or single color.

Read the details of the system on the order, if it's RGB capable it will tell you there or in the instructions that come with it.

Hi and welcome

you need to find out if a rgb header in your case is connected to the motherboard

it looks like this:

https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16812229001

if a such a cable is connected, the light is "addressable" and the colour can be changed

it looks familiar when i opened it to clean it but cant say for certain, would i need to unplug and open it up again or is there some option of figuring out what kind of fans/whatever else in a component list, like finding the motherboard?

idk they are on the corners of the fans thats all i know, atleast for the single fan in the back, the 2 or 3 in the front i cant really see without opening and not 100% where on them
Its probably safe to say that the fans came with the case, i would google the case name and brand followed by rgb lighting
they should have a piece of software running from windows where you can configure the lights
