Question How to know if laptop ships with dual-channel RAM

Hi all, long time user of this website but first post.

I'm looking to buy a gaming laptop with 16gb RAM. The problem I have is that websites almost never state whether this comes as a single 16gb stick or two 8gb sticks. Obviously I want dual channel, but I don't want to have to put it in myself as doing so inevitably invalidates the warranty.

Is there any common rule of thumb to knowing if laptops would ship with one or two sticks? Two sticks would always seem like the best option, I just don't know if they always ship that way.

If your laptop comes with two ram slots and you max out the ram option, then they come fully populated. If you choose a fraction of the max ram capacity for the laptop, then only one slot is populated. That's the thumb rule.

Might want to pass on a link to the laptop you're going to purchase?

Thanks for the reply. It's this one, I believe the max is 32gb. Ebuyer has it listed as 2x8gb, but for £100 more. Not sure if ebuyer having it as 2x8 means they all are, or if they ship differently to different suppliers:
