[SOLVED] How to know if my PC has a RJ45, RJ11 or Cat6 ethernet port

I want to use ethernet on my Optiplex 7080 Tower PC, but I'm confused about which cable should I use.

I'm thinking to buy a Cat6 cable but I'm not sure If my PC supports that.

I wanna know that what is the type of the ethernet port on my PC; so that I can buy an appropriate cable.

i guess now you'll be able to check your port type if you want.
but, universally PCs have RJ45 and telephones have RJ11

rakinar, your PC has a RJ45 gigabit-Ethernet port so you should get a Cat6 cable.

The cable is backwards compatible so it'll fit and work with slower network devices.
