How to know my Monitor's Response time?

Ok I am using a tv and idk it's response time and idk if it is more important for me to upgrade my pc or the monitor?

With expensive equipment normal people don't have but don't worry about it. As long as you don't have ghosting it doesn't matter.

The response time of a tv is going to depend on how old the LCD tv is .
And what brand name it is, with cheaper or less well known branded LCD tv sets the response time, or latency will vary.

Also how you are connecting the computer to the tv and the cable type you use.
Hdmi uses quiet a high bandwidth for up to a 1920 x 1080p lcd tv.

So the response time, or latency of screen updating is quiet low.

Plasma sets tend to have a better response time.

Any thing around 6 to 8ms GTG rating should be ok to use.

Cable won't affect response times, it's getting frame info at the same intervals and the display has to change per frame itself. Response time is not the same thing as latency or input lag. It's added to it and affects input lag but response time is the time it takes for pixels to change color, usually measured gray to white to gray aka gtg. The only thing that affects it is the monitor and possible overdrive.
