Hello,
i would like to buy I9-9900K and would like to know what is the maximum ram i can run with him? or how to check what is the maximum , currently i don't have the CPU.
Thanks

Natively, yes. Anything higher is technically an overclock, but higher speeds shouldn't be a problem with 'normal' configurations (2x8, 2x16GB, etc). Trying to run 4x16GB @ say 3600MHz might be a little more difficult.

And, note that all Z390 boards max out at 4 DIMM slots, and unregistered 32GB DIMMs don't exist AFAIK. So while the CPU can 'support' 128GB in theory, it's "real world" max is more likely 64GB, unless I've missed the launch of 32GB DIMMs.

Really depends on the workload in question, but on the Intel front, memory speed is much less of an issue than it can be on a comparable AMD platform.

There will always be some exceptions to that general rule though. What do you consider "daily work"?

Honestly, for those types of workloads, unless premier or photoshop etc are heavy use cases, I wouldn't even look to a 9900K in most cases.

From a more hobbyist level, along with video playback, browsing & office work.... even something like an i5-9400 or 9400F (no iGP) would be very solid offerings for <40% of the price of a 9900K.
Maybe even something like a Ryzen5 2400G (4c/8t with a solid iGP) would be plenty viable.
