Hi,

I have a windows XP machine and I have DSL router connection for the
Internet with Public IP. I am using some utilities to track the
bandwidth/traffic usage. eventhough I am not using browsing, mails...etc.,
there is some traffic through my NIC and it is showed in the traffic tracking
utilities.

I have deisabled all the Automatic Updates. Is there any way to know the
services which are using the network?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Regards,
Sasidhar

Install another "software" firewall other than Windows XP SP2's one. Zone
Alarm lists out which program is tring to access the Internet. As for
services, most seem to go thru the Windows svhost .
