I am trying to clone an Xbox One internal hard drive.
I had assumed that if I made a perfect copy of my hard drive, I could replace it with the clone and the console wouldn't know the difference. However when booting the console with the cloned hard drive in, it gives an error. Hard drive is fully tested and working in a pc.
I used Acronis True Image to clone the hard drive, on default clone settings. Hard drives were connected via USB. New hard drive is a different make and model, but same size.
Could connecting them via USB make a difference? Should I connect the via SATA?
Could the fact it's a different make / model make a difference?
Do I need to change the default settings in Acronis?
Any help is appreciated.
