[SOLVED] How to make a Windows Samba server with Linux server and hardware RAID 0?

I have an old NAS box that used to run Windows Vista Server. The drives were from 2004, so I upgraded them to 4 1TB drives. It has a built-in hardware RAID controller. How can I configure it so that it uses the Linux server to run a Samba server I can access from Windows. I want to combine all the drives so that I have 4 TB of storage. Can I then just install Linux and create the server and point it to a folder to be my NAS folder? How do you run Linux server with hardware RAID(not configured yet) and create a Samba server?

Get small (64-128gb) SSD drive where to install Linux. You don't want to install Linux on RAID volumes.

Long time ago I've played with Openmediavault, and it was quite easy to install and configure.
