[SOLVED] How to make background task icons on taskbar smaller

Hi,

I've just got a new monitor and when I turn on small icons it makes the taskbar smaller, however, it makes the icons of the background tasks smaller but not the background. See image

I dont understand what your trying to do? Also my advice is to switch from Avast Antivirus its a very simple but poor Antivirus this is just my opinion.

do you mean the square itself is still too big?

its spaced like that for touchscreens
There is a work around if you are willing to lose touch screen capability. In Device Manger disable HID-compliant touch screen.

Turns out I didn't do the windows update. Thanks anyway people
