Question How to make browsers remember devices, cookie choices, ect?

How can I make my browsers (mainly firefox and chrome, with some edge, actually remember my cookie preferences and remember a computer as a "trusted device"?

Then settings are typically retained from session to session. Are you saying that every time you use a browser is like you never used before?

Not if I keep the website up. But if I close the browser and then go back to the same website, it asks me the same questions about cookies again.

If I have to restart the computer, then my banking page wants me to re-authorize the computer again with another verification code. Even though I was just on in my account last night.

If It was just happening when I run CCleaner, then I'd only be a little annoyed, but it seems constant.
