So I bought this ram stick M378A1G43TB1-CTD, 2666Hz, DDR4, allegedly with timings 19-19-19-32 from Samsung. Then I realized there were better options with timings 16,18,18,38 for the same price, but it was too late. Now I'm stuck with this bad memory stick and even if I'm going to buy another for dual channel I will be throwing good money after bad money, isn't it so?
Here are this ram's specs in HWinfo, which shows things are even worse than it was advertised on the product specs:
(note that HWinfo shows the actual frequency and it needs to be doubled, so the frequency is 2660, which is ok, but the first timing is ridiculous 20ns.)
What would you advice to do now to make the best of this RAM stick?
My PC build: ryzen 5 1600, asrock b450 pro4, palit geforce gt 1030, kingston uv400 120GB ssd.
I slightly overclocked my GPU using MSI Afterburner, but I'm not planning to overclock CPU.
