How to not have ping spikes in laptop

Hi, I play League of Legends and Counter Strike Global Offensive regularly however the problem is that my ping usually is a normal 60-80, then it spikes up to 1400 ping which is really infuriating to play and for league I sometimes go over 9000 ping literally.

Have you tried using an Ethernet cable?
