Question How to open a WD 2.5" external drive ?

The usb port is gone.

Trying to get the HHD out of its enclosure - but never done it.
The enclosure is one of the Old WD - it uses Mirco-B usb (only 2.0)

Its is as simple as I think?
remove feet - see if there are screw.
If not pry the bottom plastic out

Usually there are screws hidden under the feet, if there are feet on the enclosure but they're usually held together by plastic clips, which can be accessed using a plastic spudger or a guitar pick.

Now, which external drive from WD are you working with? Asking since WD have a lot in their portfolio.
