How to overclock a ddr3 ram on a base i7 4770 non K Haswell cpu with B85 chipset? I installed new ram rated at 1600mhz 8-8-8-24 cas latency but it went to a default setting of 1300mhz 9-9-9-24 cas. There doesn't seem to be a XMP profile setting in the BIOS to raise the speed and lower the cas latency. How can I change the ram settings manually?

I went into the bios and didn't find an XMP profile setting. I have a i7 4770 cpu and B85 chipset that is supposedly not capable of being overclocked but I just want to raise the settings of the newer ram(Crucial Ballistix Tactical LP) to its recommended specs at 1600 mhz and 8-8-8-25 cas latency. Unfortunately after installing the new ram, it went into a lower default speed(1300mhz) setting that is lower than my previous ram(1600 mhz).

Specs on CPU-Z for mainboard. I have an ACER Predator G3 605 with i7 4770 Haswell CPU, with B85 chipset Rev C2 LPCIO by Nuvoton NCT 6779. Bios brand is by American Megatrends Inc. version P11-B3

The Crucial Ballistix Tactical LP RAM I got came in a set(with similar specs) that was from the same kit acc. to the owner and seems to work fine. I am already using it on my PC with a very noticeable increase in speed when using multiple apps. I just can't raise the settings to the recommended specs for this RAM.

I went into BIOS and couldn't find an XMP profile, so how do I manually adjust the settings without that?
