IS there anyway to overclock my graphics card fans like going in bios and changing max rpm etc...
MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision will let you control your fan curves.
Probably is a way to do it with editing a BIOS, but that is going a bit far, for changing fan speeds.
You can absolutely change the rpm in gpu bios just dont go over 9000 rpm XdddxDdd .
Okay?.
the fans in my gpu are 3740 rpm and its an rx 580 it needs 95mm fans know any faster ones?To get more technical. The windings in any given fan will determine the rough rotation speed minus the resistance of the air. At a given voltage you will get a fixed RPM. With RPM control it will increase voltage (Or pulse width) until the RPMs equal the target.
Now where that might be useful is if you changed out the fans on the card with faster ones, and needed to reset the max RPM so they could be properly controlled. Otherwise an RPM driven algorithm would always prevent them from running at full speed.
But since you have software control already and you aren't swapping out the fans little point. Also editing GPU BIOS can easily lead to fancy video card shaped objects of dubious value.
