Hello How do i overclock my i5 -3470s its only running on 2.9 Ghz Also Only Having 2 Cores only

I Have an ASUSTeK Computer INC. P8Z68-V LX (LGA1155)

Perhaps you're having a wrong reading or you're looking at the wrong info or name of the CPU.
The i5-3470S indeed has 4 Cores and 4 Threads...

Are you sure yours ain't a i5-3470T? This model has only 2 cores.
It's base frequency is 2.9, while on Turbo(which activates automatically) it can reach 3.6Ghz.

Overclocking non-K/X chips is a hassle you don't want to deal with(probably), so I'd strongly advise against since it can mess up with the CPU and other parts
