Hi guys, noob question here. I just bought an EVGA GTX 650 ti boost Superclocked.

Now question is, how to I enable this "Superclocked" thing. Are you going to enable it? or it is automatically enabled when you play games.

For example, Battlefield 4, set all to ultra graphics, will the SC automatically enabled? or you have to do something

And one more, I'm about to buy an i5-3570k, with 3.4ghz and 3.9ghz overclock.

Also, how to overclock it? Am i gonna enable it? or automatically enabled when doing hard stuffs like ultra gaming.

Thanks for all the answers 😀

You seem to be confused on what overclock means. Clock speed is the hz. Overclock would be to raise the clocks over factory settings. That's why it's called overclocked. So let's say it's at 980mhz from the factory. You want to overclock, then you select a speed that is over that speed. It can't magically know you want to overclock and won't magically select a speed for you.

Superclock is just marketing, it's just a name evga gives to overclocked gpus. Although they have gpus that are overclocked but not named superclock. Marketing doesn't make sense many times.

In the case of the 3570k, 3.9ghz is the turbo. It is not overclocked. This is the factory setting. It changes speed depending on your usage. The 650ti has a turbo-like...
Use the program MSI Afterburner, no only will it change the speed of your fans based on how much the GPU is being used to keep it cool, the program is also an easy way to OC your card, there is a slider for Core Clock Frequency, as well as memory frequency, turn it up to the desired amount and boom, you should be good. And when playing games the GPU should automatically boost when it sees fit.

about the MSI after burner. Can I use it even if any of my PC components doesnt have MSI brand? (my video card is EVGA and MoBo is Asus)

and just wanna be sure, when I am gaming, it automatically enables when it fits, even if i dont do anything?

Correct, you don't need any MSI product to use the Afterburner software. And yes, it should auto boost for you.

You have to change the speeds to go higher.
