I have tried multiple ways and sites and nothing has worked. I know on tp-link you have to use your ipv4 address to portfoward it but that hasn't worked ether.

I'm using the 25565 port because that's the only port I know that has worked on previous routers I've had.

Here are the routers Hardware and Firmware versions:
Firmware Version:1.2.0 0.8.0 v0049.0 Build 160216 Rel.60153n
Hardware Version:Archer D20 v1 00000000

and here is the port forwarding thing: image

Im on wireless connection and also im using the 25565 for the external and internal connection. (if thats what you meant)

Ive tried that and it didnt work

If this is what you were talking about its a port 80 test thing that didnt work:

So is your web server or whatever you are trying to connect to on x.x.x.107 or x.x.x.108??

Also what option are available on the "interface" drop down??

On the interface dropdown it has only pppoa_8_35_0_d and I didnt know what you meant on "web server" but i think it is 192.168.1.107

UPDATE: Port 80 now works but thats the only one that works.

What are you trying to connect to on you LAN over the web. Are you using a dyndns service? Why have you said "I'm using the 25565 port"??? Please explain properly what you are trying to achieve. In one screen shot your internal IP is .107 in the other its .108. I said web server as you are forwarding incoming connection on port 80 which is HTTP.

Oh sorry i noticed the first image is an older image. my internal ip is .107 and im trying to set up a minecraft server. So im trying to set up a server

OK so your internal IP is 192.168.1.107 and your minecraft port is 25565. So your port numbers are incorrect as HTTP traffic on your incoming wan (port 80) is being translated to 192.168.1.107:80, your minecraft server is not on port 80! How does anyone connect to your server, ie: what external address do they use? Do you have a static IP on the WAN?

I know it isnt on port 80, its the only port that works. Im trying to port foward 25565 to my router. 58.164.112.11 which is my IP but the router only accepts ipv4 IPs which is the internal ip. If i put my IP address into the internal ip it comes up with this error: IP address and gateway is not at same subnet mask

They are both ipv4 address.

58.164.112.11 is not up (or doesn't respond to ping). Australia correct?? (Have you changed any digits for security reasons)?

Pls post results of ipconfig /all from a cmd window on your machine with the minecraft server.

The IP is dynamic and yes i live in Australia image

OK so we can presume that you have rebooted the router and you have a new IP on the WAN. I do not understand why it is not working as 192.168.1.107 and your gateway 192.168.1.1 are on the same subnet. Surely though you need a dyndns service to connect to your machine from the internet as your IP is dynamic but that doesn't explain the error message.

I cant make my ip static because my Father wont let that happen. And yes i did reboot the router. 120.144.183.69. Anything outside the 'subnet' it will accept the IP. So if i put a random IP in that i thought off the top of my head in it will accpet it but not 'open'

It might be worth a firmware upgrade, try that from within the router first. Then reserve your machines internal IP (192.168.1.107) from within DHCP. You really should then sign up for a free dyndns service so that you connect using a web address not a dynamic IP address.

I updated the firmware like an hour ago to see if it would fix the problem, it didnt so i asked this question on the website.

I'm afraid without RDC or remote management into the router I'm at a loss.
