Question how to proceed when realized I need to remove NVIDIA drivers for GPU swap?

I have decided to swap out my beloved 1080ti and just got my new RX 6800 XT in the mail. I am about to do the swap, but realized I need to wipe the OS for NVIDIA drivers. The problem I face now, is that my system and thus GPU runs in a watercooled loop, from where I have drained it and removed my 1080ti card. I would rather not have to install that again, boot it up and remove the drivers if it can be avoided. I was thinking of just booting the system with the mobo integrated GPU - would that work in terms of effectively removing NVIDIA drivers? My new card will not be integrated into the loop.

Windows is designed to be able to run multiple graphics drivers.
Having nvidia driver capability resident should not be a problem.
Of course, "should not" does not mean that there could not be issues.
But, using DDU running under integrated graphics seems like a decent idea.
