I am trying to render 4K footage in Sony Vegas Pro 13 but I am a little confused as to how to set up the render settings. I have messed around with it a little, after watching a few guides (obscure ones at best) but I seem to be running into a issue. I have a drone with a 4K camera on it that records in 4K 30 FPS. And the play back on it is beautiful, stunning even. But when I render it in Sony Vegas to combine clips and add some transitions, the resulting videos is nothing short of hideous. Everything is blurry and fuzzy, and just plain unbearable. Curious as to if it was the 30 FPS, I recorded some WoW at 60 FPS in 4K, rendered it with the same setting (Except set the target frame-rate to 60 instead of 30) and it looks significantly better, although still much worse than the original video. I understand that when rendering, there is a loss of quality, but is it really this drastic or am I doing something horribly wrong?
