I accidently switched my number of cores to 1 in an core i5 processor (windows 8.1) and cannot change back ad because of this the laptop is working slower than ever. Can you please help me to put it back to normal.
Of course yes I tried it but when i click on the 'number of cores' in the advance settings ,it will just show the option
'1 core' .Can you please give a solution soon
It doesn't tell you to click on the number of cores. If you want to use all cores, it tells you to untick the 'Number of Processors' box, then Make All Boot Settings Permanent, then Restart.
If that doesn't work, it might help to explain what you did that accidentally switch it to one core in the first place.
