I have a F8 key in my keyboard and I disabled my WiFi using it and now that key is broken and not working SO is there any way to enable WiFi that was disabled using that F8 key back using any software hack?
Interface and wifi- driver are already in enabled state and this command didn't help to resolve the issueTry running the following at an Administrative command prompt.
netsh interface set interface name="Wi-Fi" admin = enabled replacing Wi-Fi with the name of your Wi-Fi connection.
You'll have to replace the keyboard to get that functionality back. An external keyboard may not have the necessary "fn" key. You'll not be able to toggle the wireless adapter as long as that key doesn't work.I have a F8 key in my keyboard and I disabled my WiFi using it and now that key is broken and not working SO is there any way to enable WiFi that was disabled using that F8 key back using any software hack?
Bring up the onscreen keyboard and press the Fn key in the lower left corner. They you can click on the F8 key in that.
The problem is my HP G62 laptop is a little different and the F8 key is a special key and it's regular functionality itself is to control the WiFi and you press the Fn key to get the functionality of F8 in Softwares, So on-screen keyboard didn't work for me.Bring up the onscreen keyboard and press the Fn key in the lower left corner.
