Question How to recover photos and videos from a broken tablet?

Hello! I need some advice. My Samsung Galaxy tablet broke after a fall. It won't charge or turn on now. I’ve decided not to repair it since the issue is probably more than just the battery. However, I have photos and videos saved on it that I want to recover. Is there any way to retrieve them? Maybe by connecting it to a laptop and using some software to copy them over or something like that?
If anyone has any experience with this, I’d really appreciate your help!

Did you check the SD card? I have my tablet configured to save things like that to the SD card. Pop the card out and read it directly.

No, it doesn't recognize it.

If it can't be made to power up then you're dead in the water. No amount of futzing around with it will change this and will likely make ANY sort of recovery impossible.

Also, check your online cloud storage locations, like Google Photos. You may already have those items saved elsewhere.

I already copied everything from the SD card, but there are video files that were saved on the tablet.
