Hello Guys i have a question because i'm a noob at this, i want to know how can i get lower latency in my memory kit, they are 4x4 gb dominator platinum 2800c12
As you can see the latency is very high, I have everything at default in the BIOS except i choosed XMP and raised the CPU Multiplier to x42 and also selected "Sync All Cores"
My mobo is a Sabertooth Z87, my CPU is an Intel Core I7 4770K. My PSU is a 1200w Platinum certified. Can anyone give me a hand with this..? Should i load the XMP and then lower the 12 to 11? I don't really know.
I appreciate the time you take to help a noob like me 😛

Solution
Should be able to do 2400 (fairly easily at 10-13-13-35, can try that, if stable I've been able to drop it to CL to 9 with 2800 Tridents - not positive if Corsair will be able to do it, the ones I've worked with (Corsair) have been marginal comparatively speaking
Those come as CL12 which is perfectly normal for 2800 sticks, could try dropping to CL 11 by raising the VCCSA and DRAM voltages a bit (+ 0.05), but not sure if you'll have any luck with the Corsairs, the sets I've had my hands on were pretty much maxed out in the package from 2133 on up - i.e. no OC headroom, but then too Corsair is still fairly new to the higher freq sticks, they finally got a 32GB set of 2400 out a few months back where GSkill has had multiple sets/models of 32GB 2400 for over a year and a half

So its not worth it to try? The difference would be minimal ? I would downclock to 2400 if i can also get CL10 but this is chinesse for me LOL!
This kit came with a Small Cooler which im not using, should i use it? I dont think they get very hot!

Great Bro, thanks for your help. I'm gonna try that right now, i really appreciate your help if this doesn't work i think i'll leave it as it is with the XMP Profile.
Last question, should i load the XMP before changing the values to 10-13-13-35? Didnt know this kits were so bad at overclocking..! Thats disappointing.

It worked Bro! The Computer POSTs just fine, now.. How do i test if it is stable?

Here is a pic 😀
