I got 2 120mm (6 inch i think) fans thy are of local quality not branded
i have Cooler Master Elite431+ Case.
1 fan is installed on rear side (pushes air in) and other is installed on top (upward) part of case (pushes air out) this keeps my rig very cool(Both Temp wise and looks) and I am very happy with the results.

[Note both are ball/load-bearing fans so they themselves don't make any noise ]

My problem is the fan on top side makes lot of noise i think it vibrates the top part of case

[ I tried switching the fans only the fan on top position makes noise so i know its not fault in fan]

So is there any way to reduce or absorb the fan vibrations which in turn will reduce the noise

My Full Rig :
Processor : AMD FX 6300
Motherboard : ASUS Sabertooth 990FX
Ram : 8 GB DDR3 Vengence
Cabinet : Cooler Master Elite 431 plus
Graphics card : ASUS READON R9 270X-DC2T
Power Supply : Cooler Master Thunder 600W

Is the top fan attached using screws? If so, you might try rubber/silicone vibration mounts like these.

I use the ones similar to the silicone ones from nexus (the first link) on all my fans. They hold the fan snug but are soft enough to isolate any vibration from the fan to the case.

As i have mentioned these fans produce no noise at all.
The fans i got are great better than branded once [ I have used branded fans before] and super cheap compared to them

Thanks for the info synphul
Yeah thy are attached using screws. I will need to get rubber/silicon vibration mounts synphul mentioned
