How to remove disconnected network drive

In windows 7 , i can't disconnect my network mapped path. when i tried to disconnect , it gives an alert "network connection does not exists". even i tried to connect i can't create for the same drive.

Have you tried opening a command prompt and typing:

net use T: /d

where T is the letter of the drive you are trying to disconnect?

... or right click on it and select "Disconnect"?

I've tried both of those and it just says the network resource could not be found and leaves the drive mapped to the non-existent source.
