So a few weeks ago I found about this thing called Image scaling or GPU scaling. When I set my games to a 16:9 resolution they would have the two black lines on top and bottom of screen. So what I did was enable this GPU scaling so that 16:9 resolution would be fit to the screen (running a 1920x1200 tv). Problem is now the pixels on a 16:9 resolution look all stretched out and not too good. I then went back to the amd catalyst control center (where i enabled GPU scaling) and disabled the GPU scaling and hit apply and even restarted my computer but it didnt go away. It still scaled my games when at 16:9 resolution. I was wondering how to fix this so that it would go back to having two black line on top and bottom when running at like 720p or 1080p

Solution
For future references, to remove it you first have to go to AMD catalyst control center and in desktop management set your resolution to a non-native resolution. For example if you have a 1920x1200 monitor like me change the resolution to 1920x1080. Then, go into image scaling properties and enable GPU scaling but check the "maintain aspect ratio" option and then hit apply and you can go ahead and change your resolution back to your native resolution and the problem is solved!
