I recently installed Kali Linux on my 8 GB Pen Drive to use it as a Live USB.
I used Win32 Disk Imager to install Kali Linux on my pen drive.

However, when I try to format it, it shows the Pen Drive capacity to be only 2.79 GB.
How do I remove Kali Linux and restore my pen drive's capacity?

Hey, Daniel.

Have you tried doing this via Disk Management by deleting the partitions and creating a new volume with the whole storage capacity available? Here's how to do that How to partition and format a hard drive on Windows (8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP) and Mac OSX (don't worry about the "hard drive" part, it's the same for USB pen drives).
If that doesn't work, you could try some of the formatting tools, which some of the manufacturers offer for their USB flash drives and memory cards.

Hope that helps.
